At this time, two weeks from now I will be sitting down to dinner in Pocasset, Massachusetts with my thirteen new roommates. I will have met the girl or girls I will sharing a room with, moved myself in, and asked 13 people their names about 20 times each. LOL. I probably will have also already sat through some type of training that involves one of those stupid get to know you games. So now I can tell you the red hair guy doesn’t like shrimp but still can’t tell you his name. I may have also taken some pictures – probably have. Those of you, who know me well, know I am addicted to my camera and like to take pictures of everything. I will more than likely being feeling a little like I did when I was a freshman in college – nervous, scared, excited, anxious, and everything in between.
So, how am I right now?? I am a little nervous, only about living with so many people though, not about the move or doing a completely different job. I am very excited about learning a brand new skill and doing something completely different. So, am I ready?? Yes, as ready as I ever will be. My bags are all packed – oh course they are. J All my jobs end this Friday, so next week I will be just sitting around waiting, visiting people, saying good-bye, and being a little bored. It is odd to say that at this time of the year; typically this is one of the busiest times of the year for me. As all you teachers know. Good luck to everyone at Bay Trail. Please let me know how things are going there.

Getting ready to go
Well, it is the middle of August and I have about 3 weeks to go before I leave to join Cape Cod Americorps. If you would to know about this program, check out their website - http://www.rdoac.org/americorps/ I am excited about going and starting this new adventure but also a little nervous and sad. Ok, very nervous. I am not sure what my day to day job will be as we do not get assigned until I arrive. Also, I will be living in a house with 14 other people. AHHH!! This should be interesting. I hope that everyone will keep in touch. I will be using this to keep in touch with most people. Feel free to leave me a comment.
